Braemar self catering at its best!

The picturesque village of Braemar is located on upper Deeside, at the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It is an area of great natural beauty as well as an ideal centre for touring, hill-walking, fishing, skiing (in season) or delving into history as one visits any of the several castles in the locality. There is a very good 18 hole golf course in the village (the highest course in Scotland) and other courses nearby. In summer the Royal family is in residence at the nearby Balmoral.  

From Braemar, challenging long distance walks through the mountains can be made - the Lairig Ghru being the most noted and for climbers and hill walkers there are many Munros in the vicinity. For those who are not quite so energetic there are many level walks on good footpaths in the area with a chance of seeing some of the Scottish wild life. 

'Riverside Apartment' is on the ground floor of a converted historic church which still contains many original features. The church lies in its own wooded grounds with ample parking spaces on the banks of the Clunie, a tributary of the Dee, and it is very close to the centre of the village. There are fishing rights attached to the apartment but not too many fish get caught nearby!

The accommodation comprises an open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen with one double bedroom en suite with shower and a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom with bath. It is very well appointed - TV, fridge, cooker, microwave, washer/drier and fully central heated throughout. Linen and towels are provided. Electricity is included.

1^st October - 31^st March     £300 per week (Saturday to Saturday)

Rates 1^st April - 30^th Sept   £350 per week (Saturday to Saturday)

Other dates by request, subject to availability. Longer terms negotiable
